What's On Page 25 of The Buggy List? (2013 Chick Lit Author Blog Hop)

FINALChickLitBlogHopButton2013 Learn "How to Hop & Win!" New to blog hops? Want to learn how to win the grand prize? Find complete information here.

Welcome blog hoppers, and thanks for stopping by!

Let's get right to it. You've just opened The Buggy List to page 25. Here's what you find:

Drew and Libby Sullivan are in the middle of making a "baby bucket list" of things they want to do before starting a family. Earlier, the couple split up to write down five items each, and now they have reunited to share and consolidate their lists. Once the list is finalized, they will embark on their final adventure before plunging headfirst into parenthood.

Page 25 reveals items four and five on The Buggy List. Item number four is from Libby's list - finally go on a honeymoon. Item number five is from Drew's - get in shape.

Spoiler alert from page 26 (I know, I know, but I can't resist): In order to get a head start on getting in shape, Drew has already signed them both up for a boot camp. And oh yeah, it starts tomorrow. At six in the morning.

Libby, who likes to sleep in and generally avoids working out, is not at all pleased with this. Luckily, item number six is a real zinger that will give Drew a taste of his own medicine.

Item number six is - oh wait. I'm not telling! :)

  3. Courtney, your book is going to appeal to a HUGE audience. You may enjoy reading Lori Nelson Spielman's THE LIFE LIST coming out early July 2013. In her book, a woman in her early thirties, won't receive her inheritance from her mother until she completes a bucket list she wrote when she was a 14 year old girl. I interviewed the author and wrote a book review. If you're interested, check them out: http://wp.me/p318Hj-cN

Thanks so much for sharing THE BUGGY LIST with us! I'm having so much fun hopping along the Chick Lit Author Blog Hop learning about everyone's "What's on Page 25?" Thank you so much for participating.

I'm heading over to snatch my free copy now... :)

    Cheers!

  4. I keep seeing your book next to one of mine on Amazon under "People who bought this book also bought..." and so I just bought it! Well, you were generous enough to offer it for free so "bought" is not technically correct :) Thank you! In any event, I'm looking forward to reading it and happy to be participating with you on this blog hop :)

  5. This struck a chord with me: I've just accepted a full-time job so I've got a big list of last-hurrah things to do before then...
I hope Libby kicks Drew's butt at boot camp!

  6. Well their page 26 doesnt seem to be working out for them to well. Loved playing the Whats on page 25 contest. Page 25 I would guess is the beginning of the good part of the story getting down to the nitty gritty of the story. Catch the readers with that and you got them hooked to wonder whats gonna happen next - so they will keep on reading on to find out.

  7. Aw, man! I want to know what item number six is now! But I will wait until I read the book (which I definitely will). I'm with Libby - would not be pleased with enforced boot camp at six in the morning!! :-)
